UNCG in 3 is a degree acceleration program which began in 2010. It allows students to earn bachelors’ degrees in three years or less. Many students enter UNCG with 10-20 credit hours earned by taking Advanced Placement classes in high school. However, with the rise of early and middle college programs, the average student entering the UNCG in 3 program brings 24-30 hours of college credit with them, thus enabling some students to graduate in as little as 2.5 years.
